Legal and social counseling
The contact point offers legal, social and medical support, networking and information work in favor of and in cooperation with persons with precarious residence rights (asylum seekers, rejected asylum seekers, Sans-Papiers, provisionally admitted persons). We advocate for the protection of the rights of migrating people and inform, advise and accompany them through the asylum and aliens law procedures. Our contact point is accessible at a low threshold and the consultations are free of charge. However, they are primarily aimed at financially destitute people.
- Tuesday from 14:00 to 17:00
- Thursday from 09:00 to 11:30
We offer open consultations on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings. On these days, you can drop by unannounced and discuss your concerns with us. Appointments can also be made via the contact form.
So that we can process your request as efficiently as possible, we ask you to already bring all documents with you (e.g. asylum or court decisions, other official documents and other important documents relating to your request). Due to the high demand of our open consultations, some waiting time must be expected.
The consultations take place in our offices: Schwarztorstrasse 76, 3007 Bern
